We are selling all our goats, goat equipment, farm equipment and land, because we are retiring. We are going fishing and enjoy our grandchildren while watching them play basketball and run track. We have so enjoyed being in the boer goat business the last 13 years. It has been such a blessing to meet and make friends with so many wonderful boer goat breeders. We will miss you all and the association we have had. It will be an adjustment to give up our favorite goats, but the time has come to relax and enjoy other things.

Pore Hopes Boer Ranch is located 8 miles north of San Angelo, Texas. John is a retired coach and teacher. Patsy works for a law firm and plans to retire next year. We have four children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandsons.

We started in the boer goat industry in 1996. We are raising fullblood Reds, Paints and Blacks with South African genetics to show and sell. We have also recently added Black Herd Bucks and Black Foundation Does to our herd.

Our two Red Herd Bucks, MTM Booger Red (Full South African) and Studly-Dudley Express, out of the great buck KALR Studly-Dudley, are producing a great combination of both solid red and paint kids. SALES POLICY

We try to be as accommodating to our customers as possible. However, we have endured situations where we have to input a set of business guidelines.

1. Sales are on a first come, first serve basis.

2. We require a 30% deposit to hold any animal purchase. the deposit Is nonrefundable.

3. We ask you please secure transportation for your goats prior to purchase. We allow 14 days before we start charging a feed fee. There will be a $2.00 per day per goat after 14 days. After 28 days the goats will be put back on the site for sale with no deposit returned.

4. Should anything happen to a goat that a deposit is holding, the buyer will have first choice of other goats at the same price.

5. Sale price does not include shipping, testing or health papers. All vet related costs/paperwork is the responsibility of the buyer. We will check with the vet to see how much health papers will cost for you and will transport the goats to the vet for inspection and/or tests.

6. Full payment is required before any animal leaves our premises. We will take cash or personal checks that have cleared the bank.
